About the font Kittle

Talbot Type Kittle Rough is a variant of Kittle Round, featuring a texture effect which lends it a time-worn, or coarsley printed look.

In recent years, I've designed a few minimal typefaces, Kittle Round numbers among these. I'm fascinated by how minimally each letter of the alphabet can be represented, while still being easy to read, as well as easy on the eye.

I think this typeface is arguably the most cheerful looking typeface I've designed, I'm a cynical and fairly miserable middle-aged man and yet it manages to put a smile on my face.

With its rounded edges and friendly forms, the addition of a texture brings an eco-friendly look to the font, even an eco-very-friendly look.
