About the font Kaleko 105 Remix

Kaleko is proving to be a popular, geometric sans serif. It occurred to me that because of its neutral, clean lines it could withstand some decorative additions. We’re not talking florid scrolls but maybe a sort of 21st century equivalent, a few discreet circular flourishes where certain strokes meet.

I tried all manner of combinations and it’s easy to overdo it. The result should be easy on the eye and as such, the additional details need only to make an occasional appearance, just to keep things flowing.

It makes a neat addition to the regular version of Kaleko 105 for titling and display type, or any job that calls for a little playfulness but in a low key sort of way.
